GEORGE TRIFFON
Long before he became a professional dog trainer, George was the person friends and family called when they needed help with their dogs. He discovered that he enjoyed not only working with dogs, but helping people understand them.
After retiring from the New York City Police Department in 2017 following a twenty-year career, George turned his lifelong interest in dogs into a profession. He immersed himself in the study of canine behavior, learning theory, and training philosophies. The result is a balanced, individualized approach that applies the best available tools and methods to meet the needs of each dog and family.
George believes learning never stops. He continues to study canine behavior, refine the methods he teaches, and learn from highly respected trainers with diverse perspectives. The best instructors remain curious, open-minded, and committed to improving throughout their careers.
